boa resposta do Groklaw :) obrigado.

achei interessante o artigo da Economist por duas razões: porque para um artigo de um media mainstream e generalista, achei-o apesar de tudo bem informado; e apesar do tom inicialmente céptico a verdade é que o desenrolar do artigo mostra bem as virtudes da abordagem OSS, concluindo mesmo : "As open source begins to look more corporate, corporations themselves are looking to adopt and adapt more open-source practices."

A 2ª razão porque achei interessante foi por levantar uma questão que se vai necessariamente colocar no futuro, penso eu: como é que o open source se torna mainstream sem perder as virtualidades da sua abordagem. É uma questão que me interessa... é verdade que aí o artigo não é muito conseguido. Há dias li um outro que me pareceu mais elucidativo:
